Rock plating: Usually, the button which face is very smooth need rock plating.

Imitation of barrel plating: if the customers think that the rock plating is too expensive, and do not want to giveup the pursuit of quality. The imitation of barrel plating is the best choice.

Barrel plating:  Antique colors usually use this technology, because the quality is not too different between using rock plating and using Barrel plating in antique colors. But the price of using barrel plating is cheaper much than using rock plating.
